Rental Policies

Reservation / Cancellation Policy

We normally require a paid reservation deposit of 15% or $20 whichever is greater. This can be done over the phone with a credit card; or in person. Terms for different types of items are as follows:

Tents & Inflatables Because they are often reserved far in advance; Tents require a cancellation notice of 28 or more days before the date reserved to receive a full refund of the deposit paid

Notice received within 28 to 10 days before reserved date will result in forfeiture of the deposit paid.

Notice received within 10 days of reserved date will result in a charge for the full amount of the rental for the items that apply.

For Inflatable’s: Moonwalks, Slides, etc. cancelled because rain is forecast just before the event. This will be exempt from all fees if cancelled before taken from store due to weather...

Once the item is rented (taken from store) there are no refunds for rain.


All Other Items: Require a cancellation notice of at least 7 days to receive a full refund. Cancellations less than 7 days of reserved time will result in forfeiture of the 15% or $20 deposit.

Rental Periods
Most party rental item rates are based on a period of time structured for "the event" meaning you are charged one fee for the rental and allowed from day before, to day after event to return items provided your event is a one day affair. This shows on the rental contract as “2 days”. When the rental takes place during the weekend period; this rate is applicable for items rented from Friday morning through Monday afternoon by 4pm. We do of course prefer to get items returned as soon as is convenient so we can make them available to other clients. We have weekly and monthly rates for most items as well.

Items such as Games and Inflatables; have a "day rate" and a "weekend rate". The day rate would generally be 24 hours, and the weekend rate would be 3 days if rented during a weekday… If the item is rented on a Saturday, we use what is called a "roll time". What that means is as follows:

If you rent a game or inflatable any time Friday morning or later, and return it by 12 noon Saturday - Or if you rent it after 12 noon on Saturday and return it by 4 PM Monday; either of those would be a day rental (1 day charge).

If you rent a game or inflatable any time before 12 noon Saturday, then return the unit after 12 noon Saturday; it would be considered a weekend rental and charged the “weekend rate” ("2 days" on the contract line item). This “Weekend Rate” would allow for pickup as early as Friday morning; and return as late as 4pm Monday afternoon. Please remember that we must go through a check in setup and inspection before closing out your rental contract.

Delivery
Delivery is available for a nominal fee depending on item and location. The delivery rates quoted are assumed at street level; 50 feet or less from truck. If stairs are involved or staging area is more than 50 feet from truck, additional charges will usually apply. Special containers are provided for china, glassware, silver, etc in order to insure that your items are received “table ready”. Our delivery personnel are instructed to neatly stage all items in a mutually, convenient place upon delivery. We ask that customers please check each item upon delivery and report any discrepancy to our delivery persons. They will call in to our offices at that moment or as soon as possible if there is no phone service.
Pick Up & Return
All china, silver, glassware, etc. should be rinsed free of food and repackaged in the same container as received. Linens should be refuse free and dry in order to prevent staining and mildew. We provide mesh bags to allow breathing; linens should never be placed in a trash bag!

Candle wax will not come out of linens…
Customer is responsible for damage. Tables and chairs should be taken down and stacked ready for pick up. All items to be staged in the same location as when delivered; separate locations for pick up may require additional fees.

Set up & Take Down
Set up and take down services are available at a reasonable, additional fee. Please arrange this before delivery date. If no arrangements have been made, our deliverers are to call the office for authorization.
Loss or Damage
Responsibility for rented equipment remains with the renter from the time of delivery until the time of pickup. Please make sure the equipment is secure and protected from any damaging weather. We charge replacement cost for missing, broken, burnt, or otherwise damaged items.
